Well, a year ago I wrote a post all about moving in to our new home in our home town, and preparing for the arrival of our son. Then I blinked, and its the following December, our son is here and getting into everything, and we have moved again, but this time, to Singapore!

In true Ariana fashion, I’ve lapsed in posting these past few…months. And a lot has been happening behind the scenes. So, let’s hit the high points, shall we?

How is it Mid-February?
Good Morning Friends! ️
It has been a little while since I have introduced myself here and I want to share with you my story and why I show up here to serve you!
3 years ago I was working as a toxic tort attorney, and becoming acutely aware of how everything was not always as safe as it seemed when it came to the products I was using on a daily basis. From candles to household cleaners to personal care products, everything I was breathing in, or applying to my body, contained questionable ingredients—the worst offender being anything with added “fragrance.”
So I started switching products out, little by little. First went the candles, then skin care and cleaning products. And slowly over the past 3 years, I’ve been ridding my home and personal care products of toxic and questionable chemicals and replacing them with safer, more natural options. I sleep better. I breathe better. I feel better.
My greatest inspiration in this journey has been finding other friends who are also on this journey to rid their day to day lives of toxic chemicals. Seeing how these small swaps can positively affect someone else’s skin, sleep, emotions, and more, has been so truly incredible; and I’m so glad that non-toxic products are becoming so much more mainstream than they were even three years ago!

Whelp, I launched this little site just over a week ago and in that time frame football came back, cold weather came in, and I had a minorrrr trip to the Emergency Room for a spider bite that just would.not.go.away. (Don’t worry, I’m fine, on a third round of antibiotics and for the first time in a month and a half, my leg doesn’t look like something out of a Grey’s Anatomy episode!)

I’m just going to put this out there at the beginning — I am not the most outdoorsy human. In Elementary school, I spent most of my recess time in the school library rather than outside, because my asthma prevented me from being able to play among the smog-filled air. (Thanks, Ozone Alert days). I made my parents pick me up early from week long summer camps not once, but twice. Alex and I went hiking earlier in quarantine and I managed to sprain both of my ankles within minutes of each other.
